Mounting is often the "bottleneck" in the preparation process, even in
small and moderately busy Met labs. This is due to the fact that unlike
cutting or polishing a sample, mounting takes more time. There is
often a tradeoff between time, hardness and clarity of the material,
with the choice of material depending on the hardness of the material
to be studied and how urgently the sample is needed. We offer a wide
range of materials that can accomodate all these needs and allow the
preparation process to go forward with as few bottlenecks as
possible.
